I use only expeller pressed Sweet Almond, cold pressed Coconut and Extra Virgin Olive oils along with unrefined Shea and Cocoa Butters. Why? Because our skin is the largest organ in the human body. The quality of what we apply to the surface of our skin is just as important as the quality of the food we consume. I feature local beeswax from Dancing Bee Gardens and make the infused oils myself using Organic herbs and Extra Virgin Olive oil. All of the botanicals are organic including the Adzuki Beans with the exception of Rose Petals which are pesticide and herbicide-free. The essential oils are organic whenever possible and add their own unique herbal properties to all my formulas. The Maple Flavor is a natural deliciousness. Everything I do with Caroline’s Dream is purposeful. I purchase only the finest ingredients available from reputable suppliers who have committed themselves to sustainability in their production practices. All ingredients are kept simple and direct from the plants and I make small batches by hand to ensure a high quality of medicinal potency. Please store the amber glass jars in a cool room away from direct sunlight. The amber jars help filter out ambient light, increasing shelf life and the glass won’t leach any unwanted plastic chemicals into the product. Storing creams and salves in the refrigerator can further extend shelf life, but cold temperatures can cause pure coconut oil to bead. The beading is harmless and will smooth easily into your skin upon application. The creams are very concentrated and a little goes a long way. I officially began Caroline’s Dream in 2001 and named it for my paternal grandmother who had passed along her love of medicinal plants and simple home arts. I live with my husband and two sons in a small village tucked up against the Green Mountains in Vermont. My amazing community is packed full of people who are my willing testers of new products and honor me with their unwavering honesty and support. In return, I offer quality products at very reasonable prices and my time working on various community based endeavors.

I started making skincare products around 18 years ago when I became tired of spreading chemicals on top of my dry, sensitive, acne prone skin. I sought out all the “natural” products I could find, but never saw any real improvement to my skin. I began researching ingredients, how to mix and blend them into creams, salves and balms. I formulated my own products with family and friends in mind and eventually developed a line of creams and salves that effectively addressed a variety of skin issues.
